SeeMeSol Multi-Tenant SaaS Platform
Version 5 | Effective Date: March 2026 | seemesol.com/legal-tou/
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the SeeMeSol platform and related services (the “Platform”). These Terms are the master version, published at seemesol.com/legal-tou/. They may also be presented to you at the point of registration on a client-branded platform instance (for example, at a subdomain of seemeconnect.com). The content is identical across all platform instances.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using the Platform.
These Terms apply to all individuals who access or use the Platform, including but not limited to students, alumni, employer representatives, institutional representatives, mentors, partners, administrators, government users, and any other authorised third party (collectively referred to as “Users”).
If you access the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. Where we make material changes to these Terms, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice by email to your registered address or by prominent notice on the Platform before such changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using the Platform before the effective date.
The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. If you are under 18 years of age, you may only access and use the Platform if:
By accepting these Terms, you represent that either (a) you are aged 18 or above, or (b) you are under 18 and have obtained the required parental or guardian consent.
SeeMeSol does not verify user age at registration. Where SeeMeSol becomes aware that a user under 18 has registered without the required consent, SeeMeSol reserves the right to suspend or remove that account.
Where your platform instance is deployed by an educational institution, that institution is responsible for ensuring that appropriate arrangements are in place for any users under 18 in accordance with Applicable Data Protection Laws.
“Agreement” means these Terms of Use, read together with the Privacy Policy, the Data Processing & Role Allocation Addendum (DPA), and any applicable Order Form or separate written agreement between SeeMeSol and the User’s organisation.
“Applicable Data Protection Laws” has the meaning given in the Privacy Policy, which governs the processing of personal data in connection with these Terms.
“Content” means all information, text, graphics, logos, photographs, images, moving images, sound, illustrations, data, CVs, job postings, company profiles, assessment results, and any other material submitted, uploaded, posted, or transmitted by Users through the Platform.
“Platform” means SeeMeSol’s suite of hosted, on-demand software solutions, which may include SeeMeConnect, SeeMeHire, SeeMeEvents, SeeMeMentor, and such other products as SeeMeSol may make available from time to time. For the current product suite, see seemesol.com. The Platform may be accessed through seemesol.com or through client-branded subdomains.
“Services” means the services, features, and functionality made available to Users through the Platform, as described in Section 3 and as may vary depending on the User’s role and applicable agreements.
“SeeMeSol”, “we”, “us” or “our” means the relevant SeeMeSol contracting entity: SeeMeSol Pte Ltd (Singapore and Indonesia operations) or SeeMeSol Inc. (Philippines operations), depending on the platform instance through which you access the Services.
“User” or “you” means any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including students, alumni, employer representatives, institutional representatives, government users, mentors, partners, administrators, and any other authorised third party, whether or not they have completed the registration process.
The Platform provides a multi-institution recruitment and engagement network that enables educational institutions, employers, students, alumni and other authorised Users to connect, communicate and engage in recruitment, career development and related activities.
The functionality available to each User may vary depending on their role and applicable agreements.
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The processing of personal data in connection with the Platform is further governed by the Data Processing & Role Allocation Addendum (DPA).
Depending on your role, the Platform may involve the sharing and processing of personal data between Users, educational institutions and client organisations (including employers).
Where you apply for a job, internship, event or opportunity through the Platform, your profile information, CV and contact details may be shared directly with the selected organisation. Once shared, that organisation will process your information as an independent data controller under its own privacy practices and retention policies.
If you access the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you are responsible for ensuring that your organisation’s use of personal data through the Platform complies with Applicable Data Protection Laws.
Further details regarding how personal data is collected, used, disclosed and retained are set out in the Privacy Policy.
The Platform includes AI-powered features such as CV enhancement, job matching, assessments, and career guidance (collectively “AI Features”), powered by third-party AI providers.
AI-generated outputs are indicative only and do not constitute professional advice. You should not rely solely on them when making employment, career, or educational decisions.
Your submitted content is processed by third-party AI providers but is not used to train AI models in identifiable form. Only anonymised and aggregated data may be used for platform improvement purposes.
AI Features are optional and user-initiated. You are not required to use any AI Feature to access the Platform’s core functionality. Simply do not engage with AI Features if you do not wish your content to be processed by third-party AI providers.
You must not attempt to manipulate, reverse engineer, or exploit AI Features, or submit false or misleading information with the intent of gaming AI-generated outputs.
If a particular Service requires you to open an account you will be required to complete the registration process by providing certain information and registering a username and password for use with that Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password and also for all activities which take place under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security.
In no event will SeeMeSol be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever resulting from the disclosure of your username and/or password. You may not use another person’s account at any time, without the express permission of the account holder.
You acknowledge that all Content, whether posted publicly or transmitted privately, is the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. We do not control or endorse Content and cannot guarantee its accuracy, integrity or quality. SeeMeSol will not be liable in any way for any Content or for any loss or damage of any kind resulting from the use of any Content transmitted via the Platform, and you agree to bear all risks associated with the use of any Content, including any reliance on its accuracy or completeness.
In using the Platform you agree not to:
In addition to the above, Users agree that they shall not:
We have no obligation to monitor the Platform but shall be entitled to review materials posted to a communications facility and, at our sole discretion, to remove any material that breaches these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
We may suspend or restrict your access to the Platform immediately, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe that:
We may terminate your access to the Platform at any time for material breach of these Terms or for any lawful reason.
Where you access the Platform on behalf of an organisation, suspension or termination of your account does not automatically terminate the organisation’s underlying agreement with SeeMeSol, unless otherwise specified in a separate written agreement.
Termination or suspension of access does not affect:
The Platform may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that SeeMeSol is not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.
Users are responsible for complying with all applicable local laws and regulations relating to their access to and use of the Platform. The Platform may be accessed from jurisdictions outside the country in which the relevant SeeMeSol entity operates, and Users acknowledge that they do so at their own initiative and risk.
All intellectual property rights in and to the Platform, including its design, structure, software, source code, object code, functionality, features, databases, analytics outputs, text, graphics, logos, trade marks and other materials (excluding User Content), are owned by or licensed to SeeMeSol and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
SeeMeSol grants Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for its intended purposes and in accordance with these Terms and any applicable agreements.
Except as expressly permitted:
Users retain ownership of Content that they submit, upload or post to the Platform. By submitting Content, you grant SeeMeSol a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, host, store, reproduce, modify and display such Content solely for the purpose of operating, improving and providing the Platform.
This licence terminates when the User Content is deleted from the Platform, except to the extent it has been shared with other Users or retained in backup systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
SeeMeSol may generate and use anonymised and aggregated data derived from Platform activity for analytics, reporting, service improvement and business intelligence purposes. Such anonymised data does not identify any individual User.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless SeeMeSol, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
Where you access the Platform on behalf of an organisation, the organisation shall be jointly and severally liable for your actions.
SeeMeSol shall indemnify and hold harmless you (and, where applicable, your organisation) from and against losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable legal costs arising directly from: (a) SeeMeSol’s material breach of these Terms; (b) SeeMeSol’s infringement of any third party’s intellectual property rights in the Platform; or (c) SeeMeSol’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct. SeeMeSol’s liability under this indemnity is subject to the limitations set out in Section 13 below.
The Platform is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
SeeMeSol does not guarantee:
SeeMeSol is not an employment agency, recruiter, or agent of any User, employer or institution unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
SeeMeSol does not control and is not responsible for:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SeeMeSol shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of business, opportunity, data, goodwill or profits arising from or related to the use of the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SeeMeSol’s total aggregate liability to any User or organisation for all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or use of the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by that party to SeeMeSol in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Where no fees have been paid (including where access is provided on a free or promotional basis), SeeMeSol’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed USD 100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by Applicable Data Protection Laws or other applicable legislation.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Where you access the Platform pursuant to a separate written agreement between SeeMeSol and your organisation (including any master agreement, order form or memorandum of agreement), that agreement shall govern the commercial terms of the Platform and shall prevail in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
These Terms are to be read together with the Privacy Policy, the Data Processing & Role Allocation Addendum (DPA), and the General Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the DPA in respect of personal data processing, the DPA prevails.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the SeeMeSol entity providing the Platform to you.
Where the Platform is provided by SeeMeSol Pte Ltd (covering Singapore and Indonesia operations), these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
Where the Platform is provided by SeeMeSol Inc., these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines and subject to the jurisdiction of the Philippine courts.
