Last week I joined the LEAGUE OF CORPORATE FOUNDATIONS (LCF) 2026 Conference on Good Corporate Citizenship. It was my first time connecting with foundations and I left the event energised by all the amazing people and their initiatives.
Congrats to the whole LCF team involved in organising the event, especially Celine Santillan.
The theme — Adapt. Align. Accelerate. — captured it perfectly.
As Chairperson Shem Jose Garcia said, "working in silos is a luxury the country can no longer afford." and it was a privilege to hear Edgar Chua's opening keynote on three decades of CSR in the Philippines. One point in particular stuck with me, that the CSR has to be sustainable to be successful, and it should add clear value back into the supporting Corporation.
A real highlight of the trip was the 2026 CSR Guild Awards — and a genuinely proud moment to watch our partner Primary Structures Educational Foundation (PSEFI SKILLS) from Cebu take the overall award for Rebuilding Homes, Rebuilding Lives. Huge congratulations to Paulette Liu, Jessie Cubijano and the whole team — a wonderful recognition of work that turns skills, dignity and opportunity into real, lasting impact for Filipino communities.
That challenge — move from intent to impact, together — is exactly what SeeMeSOL exists to solve. The talent and the opportunities are there but the connection between education and employment is what's missing.
We're now live in 250+ schools nationwide, with 9,000+ still to reach. That's why this community matters to us — and why we're excited to partner with LCF and its members to accelerate our coverage across the Philippines.
Thank you to everyone who shared their time, insight and introductions.
This is just the beginning. SeeMeSOL Inc
